Our naming
process

The Centre-val de Loire region is currently the organizing authority for regional passenger transport (TER, both rail and road). With the new notre law, the region will strengthen its role and become the organizing authority for intercity transport across the territory, which includes 6 departments.

In this context, the region aims to structure its service offering into a single network with the same name across all 6 departments, also integrating the ter road network. Therefore, the Centre-val de Loire region needs to develop a strong commercial brand for this new network and is seeking its name.

Rémi is an acronym for “réseau de mobilité interurbaine” (interurban mobility network). This name uses a first name with a musical sound, which sets the rhythm for a simplified new vision of intercity travel.
