The law concerning the New Territorial Organization of the Republic (Loi NOTRe) assigns new responsibilities to the regions and redefines the skills of each territorial community.
Because of this, the Communities of Communes “Allier Comté Communauté,” “Gergovie Val d’Allier Communauté,” and “Les Cheires” are merging to form a single new entity, representing 40,000 inhabitants and 28 communes.
