Our naming
process

Created in 2007, PlanetVeo, an online high-end travel agency, was immediately successful.

In 2013, following a 15 million fund raising, the executives want to change the name of the business. They found their current name difficult to read and to memorise, and difficult to really catch on. Ironically, searching the name on the internet also led customers to car rental websites.

The company’s promise : a unique experience in every destination, meeting locals and discovering new cultures.

This name pays homage to the two famous explorers Marco Polo and Vasco de Gama, the name MARCO VASCO clearly evokes worldly discovery.

The name symbolises freedom, respect and cultural curiosity.
