Our naming
process

Sanofi aims to develop a Franco-German research centre in partnership with INSERM, the University of Strasbourg, the Faculty of Medicine of Mannheim at Heidelberg University, and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ).

This ambitious partnership brings together public and private stakeholders in the medical sector (pharmacists, academics, SMEs, etc.) with the goal of accelerating the application of new therapies derived from biomedical research results.

Ksilink, a name built around the greek letter “ksi” and the english term “link,” effectively conveys the idea of a scientific platform connected to the real world.

The logo incorporates the letter K, representing a biological shape, situating the brand within the realm of scientific research. This symbol also reflects the collaborative aspect of the project.
