Nexter Systems and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW), two European leaders in land defence, have now sealed their partnership. The coming together of the two groups, as a holding company, has given birth to a franco-german defense business.
The governance of the holding company will reflect the equal balance between the two shareholders, in a long-term industrial perspective.
KNDS is made up of the initials of the two shareholders: Défense: Nexter Systems and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann.
The logo is made up of the original colours of the companies, the blue for KMW and the red and brown for Nexter. The bold, capital font, reflects the company’s status and expertise. The “+” symbol in the logo reflects the coming together of the two companies. The logo of the new brand, added to the existing logos of its stakeholders, makes it easy to identify the group.
