Our naming
process

A subsidiary of the Reed Elsevier group, which specialises in press, publishing and training, Reed Business Information is positioned as the ‘leader in professional information’ for mainly B2B targets, with a very rich portfolio of brands.

In 2013, the group was sold to the Edrip group (Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners) and the management team, providing an opportunity to find a new name that would evoke diversity, richness and a benchmark.

 

Quintessence is the key concept behind the name, which has a soft, reassuring Latin sound. The addition of the Latin verb scio ‘I know’ as the final word expresses know-how, expertise and genuine intelligence.
