In expanding cities, new forms of mobility are emerging and need to coexist with existing space.
To respond to the need for better sharing of public space, the Colas Scientific and Technical Campus, in collaboration with CEA Tech, has developed an innovative technology for visually structuring streets and roads.
This system incorporates dynamic illuminated signage, made up of tiles incorporating LEDs, to better manage traffic flows and make sensitive areas safer.
This solution, which can be controlled and modulated, responds to the new uses of roads to accommodate all types of mobility.
Flowell is a combination of the verb ‘flow’ and the adjective ‘well’. This name is reminiscent of the expression ‘to flow well’, which means ‘to flow naturally, to pass through simply, to flow easily, to circulate freely’, in a structured and safe way.
The name therefore immediately conveys a sense of calm and freedom of movement, thanks to the Colas solution.
A logotype created with a capital lettering that expresses solidity and, with its rounded endings, proximity and confidence.
A typographic play on the ‘O’ and ‘W’, with a halo and a suspended point to indicate the starting point of the user’s journey, like the soft, visible point of light that will accompany mobility. The combination of violet and blue colours gives the identity a dynamic, serene feel.
