Our naming
process

Following buying back the Doux group, Terrena group wants to create a new ambitious and innovative “poultry” entity. Intergrating the Doux group with Terrena is part of an external growth strategy linked to the development of exports. This repurchase will give the group’s new “poultry” division a strong presence in international markets that were formerly ignored, transforming the business’ global profile.

The name

Galliance formed from “gallinacé” (gallinaceous) the heart of the company’s operations, and “alliance”. Coherence and togetherness are key to this name with its strong territorial ties. In effect, the terminology references France and its gastronomic heritage. The Latin origins, through the “gallus” root, reference the hen, symbolising pride of their work and their ambitions.

The logo

The bold and straight font give the logo a powerful image, emphasising the brand’s strength. At the same time, the line’s roundness brings softness, modernity and innovation to the logo. The unstructured symbol has the features of a hen. The elements at the back of the animal can be seen as a continuation of its tail or as a sign of movement. This double meaning evokes moving forward and a real impetus towards the future.
The warm, earthy brown refers to the Terrena group, while reaffirming its territorial roots and commitment to agriculture. As for the red, it refers directly to their activity and the taste of poultry. This warm colour supports movement and conveys an idea of liveliness.
