A change of name for Thomson-CSF, a French industrial group, born from the fusion of Thomson-Brandt and CSF (General Wireless Telegraphy Company).
One of Greece’s “7 wise men”, and inventor of the word’s electron and electronic, Thales, offered the ideal identity to breathe some new life into Thomson-CSF.
