Our naming
process

MailUp Group, a provider of digital marketing services, famous for their automized email system, is becoming Growens

The new name is aligned with the group’s clear mission: to bring growth and technological innovation to their clients and investors around the world. It was chosen following a renewal of their brand positioning, their mission and their purpose, which were developed to even better represent the international group’s identity made up of 5 business unit and a portfolio of solutions that go beyond their famous email technology.

“The decision to change the name to Growens has been taken by our MailUp Group founders and is linked to our evaluation, beginning as a start-up from Cremona before becoming an influential industrial group that creates technologies for organizations that want to communicate effectively with their clients. The name primarily reflects our constant drive for growth, also by external means”, stated Nazzareno Gorni, the CEO and founder of MailUp Group. “We were born as a single-product company – MailUp, quite simply – but over time we have expanded massively by creating an international group with Italian roots, a global vision, care for local communities where we operate. We stand out thanks to our passion, transparency, innovation for our clients, and profits for our investors”

The simple and powerful name Growens, is based on the root grow, combined with the Latin “-ens”, creating a neologism representing a true business-oriented character. Grow refers to both growth and development in a way that is familiar and understandable to a wide audience: “Ens” recalls the Latin ending of the present participle indicating being the active agent of an action. The group is therefore both something that is growing (in terms of business, in terms of capitalising on opportunities and in their international presence), and something that grows (supporting their clients to reach new objectives and goals).
